BATCH FOAMING
We have developed production capacities for low-pressure foaming of polyurethane foam, with which we can make foam blocks, from light PU materials, with densities up to 50kg/m3.
In general, we pour materials in the form of blocks, with approximate dimensions of 2m*2m*1.5m. The materials can be used to manufacture beds, furniture and all kinds of products in a sponge factory.
Tens of different formulas are saved and used in our own system. Besides, our extended technical knowledge and experience in working with this technology allow us to test and develop new formulas for us or our customers.
PROCESS
All chemical components are put together in a mixing tank, then the mixture is poured into a mold that can be of square or cylinder shape. Within seconds, the mixture will start to expand and takes the form of the mold. The foam block will be then stored in a place to allow the residual chemical and physical reactions to cease, and the shape and characteristics of the block to be stabilized.
QUALITY OF FOAM
The quality of the foam resulted from the foaming process is the result of a multitude of chemical and physical factors that can influence the whole process. The initial mixture should have a precise formula and it is important to be well preset and respected by the technician, so that the final characteristics to be obtained. The storage of the foam is also important, so that the physical properties to be stabilized.
APPLICATIONS
Batch foaming is usually done in block or cylinder shapes and results in obtaining raw materials for foam processors, who through mechanical processes transform these shapes into finished or semi-finished products for various applications and industries. The most common form of processing is cutting into shapes, but other processes such as peeling or profiling are also found.
